Back from Manchester Comic Con feeling very tired but very happy.
Had an incredible weekend! Loved every minute of it, so nice to have been so well received at my local con. Best year at Manchester and best event ever for sales; so much love for Madam Butterscotch :'3
Saturday was very busy and a great day sales wise, which makes a change, as lately Saturdays have been slower. Think I'm finally happy with my table se-tup; taken me long enough lol
After the event we were staaaaarving! So we ventured into the Northern Quarter to an awesome Mexican food place called Luck, Lust, Liquor and Burn. So tasty, highly recommended!!
Then we went for a few celebratory drinks at Alchemist. I never seem to be out of there lol xD
After a good nights sleep it was time for day 2 and boy was it busy!!
Never known a Sunday so hectic and from open to close I was non stop! Lots of love for Fauns that day with me now having to reorder a load more posters.
I also met quite a few of my cosplay buddies, which is always nice. And of course the talent didn't stop with some amazing cosplays passing my table constantly!
It was also a commission day with lots of people taking home last minute portraits. Been a long time since I was sketching right up until break down!
Overall it was a phenomenal weekend and I cannot wait to return next year.
My next event for me will be MCM Scotland Expo in September.
If you missed me at the event and would like to purchase anything, make sure to check out my Store, which can be found on the home page of this site.
that's all for now guys.
Slowly but surely, I got everything packed for MCM Manchester Expo tomorrow :D
The great thing about local events is I don't need to take a huge suitcase with me :D
Still a nightmare getting everything organised. Thankfully I've been getting some neat storage ideas for storing everything away, which I'm hoping to make a video on very soon.
Some of the things I'll be taking with me this weekend are my Deadly Fauns, which are available in A6 mini prints and A3 collage posters.
I'll also have some Kickstarter leftovers, such as my Cameo Charms. They have a badge back on them so you can pin them to anything :D And of course my Skulpies. I'll have a handfull of the Pastel Poots bundles with me as well.
So if you're attending this weekend, come and find me over in the Comic Village table CD8.
Hello my lovelies...
Had a very busy couple of months but I'm hoping to be back on track with getting some new art done for the summer.
I will be attending MCM Manchester Comic Con this weekend.
I'll be there in the Comic Village table CD8 on the very end of the row, selling comics, prints, posters and all things Madam Butterscotch related
So come and find me :3
Figured it was about time I did this properly :D
Currently setting this all up still. Hoping to have my own domain and be a proper adult about this whole artist malarkey :v
Intending to use this site as a means to keep all of my convention and comics goings-on in one place. I'll still be using my Facebook and other social media outlets, but this is more for the future and where I intend to take my art career :)
